Inquiries

Inquiries are direct messages between growers about a specific entity. If you have a question about someone's plant — growing conditions, availability, breeding interest — you can start an inquiry from the entity's page.

Each inquiry is a conversation thread tied to one entity. Both participants can see the entity's OHT-ID and species alongside the messages for context.

To start an inquiry, visit any entity's public page and click the message or inquiry button. This opens a conversation with the entity's owner.

Type your message and send it. The other grower will see your inquiry on their Inquiries page in the dashboard.

The Inquiries page in your dashboard shows all your conversations. Each conversation card displays the other participant's name, the entity being discussed, and a preview of the most recent message.

Click any conversation to open the full message thread. You can reply directly from the thread view.
